Description Angelcare AC300
The Angelcare AC300 is a battery-operated extension baby movement monitor which you can add to complement your existing Angelcare baby monitors. The monitor (also referred to as the nursery unit or baby unit) includes a wired sensor pad with highly sensitive built-in motion detectors that can pick up your child’s slightest movements. This includes abdominal movements your baby makes with breathing. The pad and wires won’t get in the way of your baby’s activities as these are conveniently tucked under the crib mattress.
The Angelcare AC300 works primarily by monitoring your baby’s movements through the sensor pad. The sensor pad has five sensitivity levels which you can adjust using the movement sensitivity dial on the baby unit. If the sensor pad does not detect any movement for 15 seconds, the baby unit will let out an audible “tic” sound to alert you of this. If no movement is still detected after an added 5 seconds, the monitor will sound a loud alarm.
The Angelcare AC300 also comes with an adjustable TIC function that visibly and audibly displays movement being picked up by the mattress sensor pad. When activated, the baby unit flashes a green light and sounds an audible tic for every movement picked up. If the tic sound seems to disturb baby’s sleep, you can switch it off and still get the assurance that baby is breathing soundly in his sleep by simply checking on the flashing green light on the baby unit.
The Angelcare AC300 is extremely helpful in case you have twins or triplets, or if you need to watch over more than one child sleeping in the same room. You can set up separate monitors for each crib and do your monitoring from a single parent unit. The monitor is compatible with the Angelcare AC401, AC1100 or AC601 models.
